Joanna Luo

Joanna Luo is a Vancouver-based content writer and marketer with a strong passion for storytelling and the outdoors. Her love for snow began when she started skiing at 11, and she later went on to earn her ski instructor license at Grouse Mountain in North Vancouver, BC. While she considers Grouse her home mountain, Big White will always be her favorite. 

Professionally, Joanna has brought her creativity and strategic thinking to Destination Canada, where she supported national tourism campaigns across social media platforms, engaging global audiences and promoting Canada’s one-of-a-kind destinations. More recently, as a marketing and project consultant at Hostelmatch, she developed marketing strategies to increase web traffic and optimize customer engagement for an online travel booking agency, combining her marketing expertise with her love for travel.
