Pull up your patio seat for a front row experience into this spring snow fest: here are some top highlights, unique to Sun Peaks.
1) Savour Food Festival March 27-29
A whole menu of food and bevy-based events fill the village, including the main attraction: Epicurean night, March 29, welcoming some of Canada's top chefs serving up eight awesome courses of food and wine.
Stephen Duke, of the prestigious Chaîne des Rôtisseurs—representing professional, while supporting up and coming chefs and sommeliers across BC and the world—is one of the organizers for Epicurean.
"The Epicurean showcase makes the perfect post après, pre- nightclub experience fueling your Spring Fest experience," expains Duke.
"It's a party with dinner, via seven food stations and a variety of wine and cocktail stops, the name of the game is to see who can win bragging rights for the best pairings! A new way to enjoy dinner, over networking, with a DJ and good times."
Profits from the night go back into supporting Thompson Okanagan's up and coming chefs and sommeliers. (You can meet some of the chefs in this article.)
Duke says, "The best of Canada are right here in the Okanagan region, and we are bringing them into this event."
Duke challenges us to take the weekend to the next level by buying tickets for Epicurean today. Learn more & buy your tickets here before they sell out.

It features some top talent on stage serving up sizzling beats with 13 DJs over the three weeks of the fest, including Vancouver’s DJ Jessu. Sponsors Pepsi and Red Bull are both known for backing epic events, so you know it'll be good.
