Powder daze fuels spring skiing craze across Western Canada

This week I did a thing: I cashed in some days off and went powder chasing for two crazy days, at my home hill Marmot Basin and over to Valemount, with Cariboo Snowcats.

Result? Two of the hands down best pow days I've had, possibly ever. Back to back epic.

I'm not just bragging, here's the point: you can get after it too. If you've been holding out, waiting for great snow, this is it. The clock is ticking on the 2024-25 ski season, so the time to get it is now.

Ski season is back and with the latest top up (up to a metre in a week for some spots) there's enough snow to carry us through an epic spring ahead. Want proof? Here we go.

Chance encounters in Jasper

Slow-walking my dead ski legs into The WhiskeyJack Grill in Jasper after a Monday pow day, I ran into an old buddy and SnowSeekers alum, Bob Covey. Our convo went something like this.

In unison: "You get up skiing today?
"Yeah, you?"
"Awesome, right?!"

Laughs, backslaps and glow-basking was the theme all-around.
