In over five decades Marmot Basin has never seen an earlier opening date than this Remembrance Day weekend.

Banff Sunshine Village looked nearly mid-winter as snow and cold hit with its first chair.
Sunshine came out to impress and did not disappoint.

More resorts, like Snow Valley Ski Club, Big White, Canyon Ski resort, Fernie, Hudson Bay Mountain, Nitehawk Adventure Park, and Revelstoke Mountain Resort are hoping to get those lifts running this month.
