March Metre Madness hits Alberta, BC ski resorts

While the phrase March Madness may come from basketball, for us skiers and snowboarders it means something else: powder powder powder!! In the last week and a half, Western Canada ski resorts have been absolutely pummelled with fresh snow.

Nearly two metres on the coast at Whistler, nearly 1.5m at Whitewater in BC’s interior, and resorts from Fernie to Kicking Horse to Revelstoke, to Marmot and Castle were hitching up on the metre train too.

Winter is back and it’s time to get after it.

LISTEN: hear my conversation with 630 CHED about the return of winter, and how to get after it, here.

Folks in the PNW took a powder this last weekend!

Have you ridden the new Knob Chair yet??

Marmot got 80cm and the Knob was glorious (speaking from personal experience, btw).
