Terrace B.C., in the Shames Valley is home to the legendary Shames Mountain Resort, which gets more snow than just about any other ski hill in North America.
So much snow can fall in a short time that skiers and snowboarders have been happily snowed in for days. What also makes this place extra special is that it’s owned by local skiers and boarders as part of a co-operative. You don’t find that everyday in the ski world.
