Social media posts to get you stoked for the upcoming snow season

It might only be August but it looks like folks throughout Alberta and British Columbia are just as stoked to hit the hills as we are! Here are a few posts, snowfalls, and announcements to get you excited for the upcoming season.

If you were driving on the highway of Pennask Summit, BC, in July, you might have noticed snow falling. Mid-summer snow? Sounds like just what we need to cool off.

A nice snowfall on August 12 left Marmot Basin covered in powder. It might not be enough to ski yet, but we're on our way!

Looks like our friend Powder Matt is excited about snow to come! Check him out living up to his name and shredding in some pow!

A light dusting in July kicked off the summer at Banff Sunshine Village. We wish the summer was perfect for skiing too (especially in the heat)!

We hear heliskiing might be the move this winter if you're looking to stay (very) far away from everybody - and get some awesome fresh snow in the process. Check out this shot from the Kootenay Rockies!

Get to know James Niehues, the man behind almost all the slope maps in North America, and get pumped to see them for real this upcoming season!
