How long have you been producing content for?
I’ve been a travel journalist covering Canadian and international destinations for the past ten years.
What are some of the media outlets you work with
Major publications I contribute to include the San Francisco Chronicle, the Dallas Morning News, Men's Journal, National Geographic Traveler, the Globe and Mail, Robb Report, Elle Canada, Postmedia newspaper network, Ski Canada, the Huffington Post (US edition) & Canadian Traveller.
What is a favourite experience being a journalist
Heliskiing, catskiing and backcountry touring in British Columbia's epic interior. The spectacular settings, the thrill of landing on a pristine mountaintop with nothing but perfect powder to play in. The camaraderie of the crew and guests. The après wining and dining in gorgeous lodges. The bragging rights. It doesn’t get any better for a powder hound.
Why do you contribute to Snow and FestivalSeekers
First and foremost, the locations, people and experiences I get to cover across BC and Alberta. I truly believe that we live in the best place on earth – and I’ve seen a lot of it. Also, Seekers is a super fun group dedicated to squeezing every drop out of that lemon called life. My kind of people.
What made you start your website
I needed a place to showcase my writing and photos. And then it just got to be fun.
