Four Valentine's Day events at ski resorts to romance your ski partner

Valentine’s Day is the perfect opportunity to step out of the ordinary and embrace the magic of winter with someone you love—and where better than at a ski resort, doing something you both love?

Chairlift speed dating, powder day proposals and ski resort weddings have become popular to connect like-minded shredders on the slopes.

There’s something about snowy landscapes and crisp mountain air that brings people closer. And to help Cupid along, these four ski resorts have put together Valentine's events that will make your ski day with your loved one extra special.

St. Mingle's Day at Sun Peaks Resort

Take your boo to Sun Peaks for a fun-filled afternoon on the mountain! Shred slopes together and catch all the St. Mingle's Day photo frames on the way. Bonus: there's free kisses (the Hershey's kind, silly) at The Base.

On your way down the slope, catch a photo with Harry Bear at one of the St. Mingle's Day photo frames.

Valentine's Day lunch at Fernie Alpine Resort

You can't go wrong with a cute and romantic mountain-top lunch with live music. You just can't. Share the love (and the mountain views) this Valentine’s Day at Fernie’s Lost Boys Café.

Create unforgettable Valentine’s Day memories with stunning views, great food, and a dash of adventure.

Lifts of Love at Mount Norquay

Celebrate Valentine’s Day with adventure at Norquay’s speed dating event on the slopes! From 5 PM, check-in and warm up, then enjoy speed dating chairlift rides starting at 7 PM. Join the fun with ice breaker games, Bingo at 8:30 PM, and an après-ski mixer with a live DJ at 9 PM. Tickets are $55 online or $60 at the door (lift ticket included). Register now before spots run out!

Free Valentine's Day weddings at Revelstoke Mountain Resort

Say “I do” with a view this Valentine’s Day! Head to the top of Revelstoke Mountain for free weddings and vow renewals. Pre-register to snag your spot, grab some bubbly and a cupcake, and make it official (license and witnesses required). Lift tickets? A must for this love-fueled adventure!
