First chair to fresh tracks: SilverStar Mountain Resort opening weekend 2024

SilverStar Mountain Resort, BC — Openings at ski resorts are like Christmas morning, but better. The line drops and you are instantly welcomed into the coolest of clubs. SiverStar's snow globe didn't disappoint and is now open for the 2024/25 season.

Didn't make it? No stress, here is a taste of what was cooking…

The stoke factor was high, those in Vernon, only 20 mins from SilverStar are animals about the snow, and truly live for it (so much so, SilverStar has the highest per capita enrolment of Snowsports programs in the country).

SilverStar opened with just enough snow to cover the 30 odd runs and three lifts perfectly given the 90cm base (I'd say about double to this time last year).
