First in Canada to open entire mountain and over 100 ski runs

FERNIE, BC - Fernie Alpine Resort has skiers and riders stoked to enjoy the deepest snow in the Canadian Rockies. Fernie Alpine Resort has the most runs open and is the only ski resort in Canada with its entire mountain open.
All lifts are open to service all FIVE alpine bowls, giving access to over 100 runs. The Fernie Alpine Resort rail park is also open, in addition to the Minute Maid Wilderness Adventure Park learning area. Fernie Alpine Resort is now open 7 Days a week now but the Early Opening Weekends were a huge hit.
A record number of skiers and snowboarders flocked to Fernie Alpine Resort to enjoy the deepest powder in yet this season. With over 8 ft. of snowfall to date, this weekend looks to be a repeat of the fantastic powder skiing, as another snowstorm is set to hammer Fernie Alpine Resort later this week.
